"Saffron Garden" is one of Carolyn Fox's recent mixed-media paintings that create a world through crisp shape and bold color. Many of these collage works include pieces of painted studies, textured papers and patterned fabrics.

Carolyn works in a wide variety of media, from painting and printmaking to sculpture in wax and bronze.

She studied painting and sculpture at UC Santa Cruz and received a M.F.A. in Painting from the Graduate School of Fine Arts, University of Pennsylvania.

Her work is shown throughout Southern California and is in many private collections.
